I’m a 1952 model, that makes me 64 years old. I first graduated from SMS in 1973 with a wildlife management degree, couldn’t find a very good job so went back and took business classes, got my Real Estate license and worked with land sales. I’ve been in real estate since college with periods of various jobs to pull me through hard times. Today I’m part time student at MSU, Realtor-broker, Co-owner with wife Lynn of Opportunity Realty, and project manager for innovated teams and clubs. Also, I’m an active member of Second Baptist Church. My hobbies include working with plants, training my dog red, doing a little farming on my son’s 70 acres, experimenting with all kinds of projects and hunting. In addition I have a lot of fun with my family especially as Gabby’s Papa a very energetic 5 going on 15 year old granddaughter.
My mission is to finish strong by staying close to Jesus. These are some of my core beliefs:
I believe that there is no greater guide to conducting business than what Jesus taught in doing to others as I would want others to do to us.
I believe in the infinite value of every human being and that God sent His son Jesus to redeem everyone and give all an opportunity to accept the free gift of salvation and eternal life.
I believe in the holy bible being the inspired and inerrant word of God and within it a keys to life.
I believe in under promising and over delivering in everything I do for buyers and sellers.
I believe that Everything is an opportunity If we have the right prospective.
I believe that life is an adventure and too short to not to have fun in what I are doing, So our clients move should be as fun and hassle free as possible.
I believe that your home is extremely important and will have great impact on your family’s future.
I believe that faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;
I believe that economic justice can best be won by free people through free enterprise;
I believe that government should be of laws rather than of men;
I believe that all people are created equal under God with the opportunity to become unequal.
I believe in the principles set forth in the USA constitution and the wisdom of our forefathers in requiring its representatives to pledge its defense.
So what am I doing in a Public Relations class? I love learning. With over 25 years in real estate I’m learning that a good part of my work I considered marketing has actually been PR work. I have a dream of helping others obtain their goals and dreams. I want to help people make those dreams and goals a reality and would like to help them partner with companies and organizations. I need to know how PR people think, learn their language and see the world through the PR person’s eyes. So how does a PR professional see things?
